Serving God

_ You shall serve the Lord your God; He will bless your food and your drink, and will remove all sickness from among you (Exodus 23:25).
_ You must wholeheartedly, wholeheartedly, and respectfully
love the Lord your God - These words which I command you today shall be in your heart - Teach them diligently to your children, and speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road. , whether when you lie down, or when you rise up (Deuteronomy 6:5-7)

_ You shall fear the Lord your God, serve Him, cherish Him, and swear by His name (Deuteronomy 10:20).

_ Behold, here is my servant, whom I uphold, whom I choose, in whom my soul delights. He will show righteousness by the truth (Isaiah 42: 1 - 3).

_ Be diligent and not lazy; must have zeal; must serve God (Romans 12:11)
_ Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain (I Corinthians 15:58). )

_ And now, do I hope people will accept me or God? Or do I want to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ (Galatians 1:10).

_ It is He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and still others to be pastors and teachers - that the saints may be perfect in the work of ministry and the edification of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11 – 12)

_ Whom we preach, with all wisdom, admonishing and teaching everyone, that we may present everyone perfect in Christ - for this reason also I work and fight with His help, which acts with authority within me (Colossians 1:28-29).

_ For you know that from the Lord you will receive an inheritance as a reward. Serve Christ, the Lord (Colossians 3:24).

_For our preaching is not based on error or impurity, nor is it deceitful. But because God has judged us worthy to preach the gospel, we continue to speak. , not to please men, but to please God, who searches our hearts (I Thessalonians 2:3-4).

Therefore, since we have a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us give thanks so that we may serve God with fear and fear in a way that pleases Him (Hebrews 12:28).
_ Each of you should use the grace you have received to help one another, as faithful stewards of God's grace. If someone preaches, let him preach as if he were preaching God's oracles; If anyone does anything, let it be done through the strength that God gives, so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ; To whom be glory and power forever and ever, Amen (I Peter 4:10-11).

_ Shepherd the flock that God has entrusted to you; Do it not by force, but willingly, not for dishonest gain, but with all your heart - not to be in charge of the responsibilities assigned to you, but to be a good example to the flock - When He who is the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of glory that will never fade away (I Peter 5:2-4).

Tongue

_ Speak to the people: As for my life, says the LORD, I will do to you according to what I have heard you say (Numbers 14:28).
_ His (the wicked) mouth is full of curses, lies, and deceit; Under his tongue there is only trouble and wickedness (Psalm 10:7).

_ Who loves life, and loves long days to enjoy blessings? - Keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from speaking deceit (Psalm 34:12-13).


_ The mouth of the righteous declares wisdom, and his tongue speaks righteousness (Psalm 37:30).


_ Your tongue devises evil and lies like a sharp razor - You love evil more than good, lies more than speaking righteousness - You lying tongue, you love cruel words. harm – God will also harm you forever; He will take you, bring you out of your tent, and uproot you from the land of the living (Psalm 52:2-5).


_Let my lips declare Your praise; for You have taught me Your statutes – Let my tongue sing of Your words; For all Your commandments are righteous (Psalm 119: 171 – 172).


_ What will people give you, you deceitful tongue? What else can I give you? – At is the sharp arrow of a warrior, and the burning coal of a well tree (Psalm 120: 3 – 4)


_ Anyone with a deceitful tongue will not be established in the land; Disaster will pursue the violent man to overthrow him (Psalm 140:11).


_ O Lord, guard my mouth and guard the door of my lips (Psalm 141:3).


_ Put away the deceitfulness of your mouth, and put away from you the deceitfulness of your lips (Proverbs 4:24).


_ For the lips of an adulteress produce honey and her mouth is sweeter than oil - but in the end it is as bitter as wormwood and sharp as a two-edged sword (Proverbs 5:3-4).

_ The mouth of the righteous brings wisdom; Only the tongue of the wicked will be cut off - The lips of the righteous know what is pleasing; But the mouth of the wicked speaks only wickedness (Proverbs 10:31-32).


_ Thanks to the blessings of upright people, the city will be great; But at the mouth of the wicked it is overthrown (Proverbs 11:11).


_ The one who gossips reveals secrets; But whoever is faithful keeps his affairs secret (Proverbs 11:13).

_ Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD; But whoever is faithful will please Him (Proverbs 12:22).
_ Sadness in the human heart makes people feel weak; But a good word makes the heart glad (Proverbs 12:25).
_ By the fruit of his mouth he receives blessings... - He who guards his mouth preserves his life; But whoever opens his lips too much will be corrupted (Proverbs 13:2a-3).

_ In the mouth of a fool is a rod to punish his pride; but the lips of the wise guard him (Proverbs 14:3).
_ In all kinds of work there are benefits; But a talkative mouth only leads to poverty (Proverbs 14:23).
_ A gentle answer calms anger; But harsh words stir up more anger - The tongue of the wise brings forth knowledge in a right way; But the mouth of a fool pours out foolishness (Proverbs 15:1-2).

_ A gentle tongue is like a tree of life; But a perverse tongue corrupts the spirit (Proverbs 15:4).
_ The lips of the wise spread out knowledge; But the heart of a fool does not do so (Proverbs 15:7).
_ A mouth that answers well makes people happy; and how good it is to speak the right word! (Proverbs 15:23)

_ The heart of a righteous person thinks about what to answer; But the mouth of the wicked pours out evil (Proverbs 15:28).
_ Good words are like honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and healthy to the bones (Proverbs 16:24)
_ Evil people sow discord; and a gossip separates close friends (Proverbs 16:28).
_ Evildoers work hard at dishonesty
