Marriage

_ The Lord God said: It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make a helper like him (Genesis 2:18).
_ That is why a man will leave his father
A mother shall cleave to her wife, and the two shall become one flesh (Genesis 2:24).
_ Do not marry their daughters for your sons, lest their daughters commit adultery with their false gods and entice your sons to commit adultery with their false gods (Exodus 34). : 16)

_ A priest must not marry a prostitute or a sexually immoral person; nor should you marry someone whose husband has left you, because the priest has consecrated the priest to his God. He shall be holy to you, for I, the LORD, am holy, who make you holy (Leviticus 21:7-8).
_ You shall not intermarry with them, nor give your daughter to their son, nor take their daughter for your son; for these nations will tempt your son to leave me and serve other gods, Then the anger of the LORD is kindled against you and will destroy you with haste (Deuteronomy 7:3-4).

_ Therefore do not give your daughters to their sons, and do not give their daughters to your sons; Do not seek their prosperity or their peace, that you may be strong, eat the fruit of the land, and leave it to your sons for an everlasting inheritance (Ezra 9:12).

_ Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and enjoys the grace of the Lord (Proverbs 18:22).
_ Two people are better than one, because they will receive a good reward for their work - If one falls, the other will help his friend up; But woe to him who falls alone and has no one to help him up (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

_ Judah acted deceitfully, and committed an abomination in Israel and in Jerusalem; For Judah has profaned the holiness of the LORD, which he delights in, by marrying the daughter of a foreign god. Whoever does this, whether he is awake, or whoever answers the question, or whoever sacrifices to the LORD of hosts, The Lord will cut them off from the tents of Jacob (Malachi 2:11 – 12).

_ … The LORD is witness between you and the wife you took in your youth, and you treated her deceitfully, even though she was your friend and your covenant wife. For even though the breath of God's life abounds, just make a person. But why only one person? It is because of finding a holy lineage. Therefore be ye careful in your spirit; Do not treat deceitfully with the wife you took in your youth - For I hate anyone who puts away his wife, says the LORD of hosts, and anyone who covers his clothes with violence, says the LORD of hosts. Therefore keep it in your hearts that you do not act deceitfully (Malachi 2:14b-16).

_ But I say to you: If anyone divorces his wife without committing adultery, he makes her an adulteress; And if anyone marries a divorced woman, he commits adultery (Matthew 5:32).
_ Then, husband and wife are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, humans should not separate those with whom God has united! (Matthew 19:6)
_For I tell you, if anyone divorces his wife, other than because of adultery, and marries another, he commits adultery; And whoever marries an abandoned person commits adultery (Matthew 19:9).

_ The disciples replied: If it is the duty of a man to treat his wife like that, it would be better not to marry her! – He answered and said: Not everyone can receive this word, only those who are willing to give it like this - For there was an eunuch from his mother's womb; There are eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven, and there are eunuchs who are made eunuchs with their own hands for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let anyone who can receive this word accept it (Matthew 19:10-12).

_ But from the beginning of the creation of the world, God made them male and female - for this reason a man left his father and mother and clung to his wife - and the two became one flesh. So husband and wife are no longer two but just one flesh. –Therefore, there should be no separation between those whom God has joined together (Mark 10:6-9).
_ He said: Whoever puts away his wife and marries another commits adultery with her - but if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery (Mark 10:11-12).

_Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery; whoever marries a woman whose husband has left him commits adultery (Luke 16:18).
_ Therefore, if a woman has a husband, as long as the husband is alive, the law must follow him for as long as he lives; But if the husband dies, then the wife is freed from the law that bound her to her husband. So if while the husband is alive, the wife marries someone else, she must be called an adulteress; But if the husband dies, the wife is released from the law; even if she marries another woman, she is not an adulteress (Romans 7:2-3).

_ But to be free from all sexual immorality, let every man have a wife, and every woman must have a husband (1Corinthians 7:2).
_ But if they can't take care of themselves, then get married; for it is better to marry than to be consumed by the fire of love - As for those who are married, I, not I, but the Lord, command that a wife should not leave her husband, - (if they are separated from each other) , then you should stay alone and not marry another husband; or you should be at peace with your husband again) and the husband should not divorce his wife (1Corinthians 7:9-11).

_ …If a brother has a wife who is not a believer and is willing to live with him, he should not leave her. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and is willing to live with her, she should not leave her husband. Because, if the husband does not believe in God, his wife will be sanctified; if the wife does not believe in God, she will be sanctified through her husband's belief in God; Otherwise, your children will be unclean, but now they are holy. If an unbeliever wants to separate, let them separate: In that case, there is no obligation on brother or sister. God has called you to peace (1 Corinthians 7:12-15).

_ As long as the husband lives, the wife must be tied to him for as long as possible; If the husband dies, the wife is free to marry whoever she wants, as long as it is according to God's will (I Corinthians 7:39).
_ Marriage must be respected by all, and the home must be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous (Hebrews 13:4).
