Follow God
_ He said to two men (Peter and Andrew): Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men (Matthew 4:19) # (Mark 1:17)
_ Jesus answered and said, The fox does
cave, the birds of the sky have nests; but man has no place to lay his head (Matthew 8:20) # (Luke 9:58)
As you go, preach: The kingdom of heaven is at hand - heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. You have received freely, give freely (Matthew 10:7-8).
_ Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, be wise as serpents and innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16).
_ You will be hated by everyone because of my name; But whoever endures to the end will be saved (Matthew 10:22).
_ Whoever loves his parents more than me is not worthy of me; Whoever loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; whoever does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me; whoever keeps his life will lose it; But whoever loses his life for my sake will find it (Matthew 10:37-39).
_ For whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother and sister, and also my mother (Matthew 12:50) # (Mark 3:35)
_ Then Jesus said to his disciples: If anyone wants to come after me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? So what will a man give in exchange for his soul? ( Matthew 16 : 24 – 26) # ( Mark 8 : 34 -37) # ( Luke 9 : 23 – 25)
_Whoever leaves brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields or houses for my name's sake will receive much more and inherit eternal life - but there will be many who are at the top. become last, and many who are last will be first (Matthew 19:29-30).
_ So the Son of man came, not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28) # (Mark 10:45)
_ But Jesus said to them: A prophet is despised only in his own country, by his relatives, and in his own household (Mark 6:4).
Jesus answered, "Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake and the gospel's sake who will not receive it." now, in this life, a hundred times more about houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, lands, with persecution, and eternal life in the next life. But many who are first will be last; the last will be first (Mark 10: 29 - 31) # (Luke 18: 29 - 30)
_ But He answered and said, My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it (Luke 8:21).
_ Then He said to them all: If anyone wants to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross every day and follow me - For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever wants to save his life will lose it because of me life will be saved - if someone gains the whole world but loses or perishes himself, what good is it? – For if anyone is ashamed of me and of my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him, when he comes in his glory, and that of the Father, and that of the holy angels (Luke 9:23-26).
_ While they were on the road, someone said to Him, "I will follow you wherever you go." Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests." But the Son of man has no place to lay his head (Luke 9:57 – 58).
_ Jesus said: Whoever puts his hand to the plow and looks back is not worthy of the kingdom of God (Luke 9:62).
_ Behold, I have given you power to trample on serpents and scorpions and all the power of the enemy under your feet; Nothing will harm you – Yet do not rejoice because the demons are subject to you; But rejoice because your names are written in heaven (Luke 10:19-20).
_ Let's go ; Behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. Do not carry a purse or a bag or shoes or greet anyone on the way. Whatever house you enter, first say, Peace be upon you. this house! _If there is anyone in that house who deserves peace, your peace will be upon them; otherwise it will return to you - stay at home, eat and drink what is given to you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house. In whatever town you enter, where people welcome you, eat the food that is set before you. Heal the sick there, and say to them, "The kingdom of God is near to you." Luke 10 : 3 – 8 )
_If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life, he cannot be my disciple. And whoever does not take up his cross and follow me, nor be my disciples (Luke 14:26-27).
_ So then, if any of you does not give up everything he has, he cannot be my disciple (Luke 14:33).
_ Jesus said: "Truly I say to you, whoever has left home, mother, father, brothers, wife or children for the sake of the kingdom of God, will receive much more in this present age, and in the age to come, live forever (Luke 18:29 – 30)
_ Then He said: When I sent you out, without bag, sack, or shoes, did you lack anything? The disciples answered and said, There is nothing lacking. He said: But now, whoever has a purse, let him take it, and whoever has a purse, let him take it; Whoever does not have a sword, let him sell his cloak and buy one. For I tell you, it is written: He was counted among the wicked. That word must be fulfilled in ourselves. Indeed, it is about me that it may be fulfilled (Luke 22:35-37).
_ Jesus said: My food is to do the will of Him who sent me, and to complete His work (John 4:34).
_ Jesus said: I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast away. outside (John 6:35; 37)
_ …For Jesus knew from the beginning who it was who did not believe and who would betray him. He said, "For this very reason I said to you, unless it is given to you by the Father, it will not happen to you." Whoever can come to me (John 6: 64 - 65)
_ Jesus spoke again to them and said: I am the light of the world; Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life (John 8:12).
_ …If you continue in my word, you will truly be my disciples – you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free (John 8:31 – 32)
_ But you do not believe me, because you are not my sheep – My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me – I give them eternal life; They will never perish, and no one can snatch them out of my hand - My Father is greater than all who gave them to me, and no one can snatch them out of my hand - I and the Father are one (John 10:26). – 30 )
_ Jesus said: I am the resurrection and the life; He who believes in me will live, even though he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe that? - He answered and said, Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world (John 11:25-27).
_ I am the light that has come into the world, so that whoever believes in me will no longer be in darkness. And if anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. He who rejects me and does not receive my words has already judged him; The word which I have preached will judge them at the last day (John 12:46-48).
_ I am the vine, you are the branches . Whoever abides in me and I in them bears much fruit; For apart from me you can do nothing (John 15:5).
_ Behold, in this way my Father will be glorified: if you bear much fruit, you will be my disciples (John 15:8).
_ Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that you should go and bear fruit, that your fruit may always bear fruit: and for all that you shall ask in my name. Father, He gives it to you (John 15:16).
_ If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own; But because you are not of the world, and I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember what I said to you: A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you; If they have kept my word, they will also keep your word (John 15:19-20).
_ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
_ But for the sake of Christ I count gain to myself as loss - and I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Jesus Christ, my Lord. and for Your sake I risk all these benefits. Indeed, I consider these things as rubbish, that I may gain Him
