Fear God

_ So because the midwife feared God, He made their house prosperous (Exodus 1:21).
_ Fear the Lord your God, keep His commandments, walk in His ways (Deuteronomy 8:6)
_ So, O Israel, what does the LORD require of you now? Is it not required of you to fear the Lord your God, to walk in His teachings, to love and serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, to keep the commandments and statutes of the Lord which I command you today, that Are you blessed? (Deuteronomy 10:12 – 13)

_ You shall fear the Lord your God, serve Him, cling to Him, and swear by His name (Deuteronomy 10:20).
_ You shall follow the Lord your God, fear Him, keep His commandments, obey His voice, and hold fast to Him (Deuteronomy 13:4).
_ Now therefore, fear the LORD, and serve him sincerely and faithfully; Put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the river, and in the land of Egypt; must serve the Lord (Joshua 24:14).

_ Only fear the Lord, and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; for see what great things he does for you! ( 1 Samuel 12:24)
_ But ye fear the LORD, who brought you out of Egypt with mighty power and an outstretched arm; Whom you shall worship and offer sacrifices to (II Kings 17:36).
_ But fear the Lord your God, and he will deliver you from your enemies (II Kings 17:39).
_ Now therefore, fear the Lord and be careful in what you do; For the Lord our God does not commit injustice, does not show partiality, does not accept bribes (2 Chronicles 19:7).

_ Then he said to men: The fear of the Lord is wisdom; Avoiding evil is understanding (Job 28:28).
_ The fear of the Lord is pure, lasting forever; The commandments of the LORD are true, all are righteous (Psalm 19:9).
_ Who is the one who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose - His soul will dwell in peace, and his descendants will inherit the land - The LORD makes close friends with those who fear Him, showing them how to communicate. His will (Psalm 25: 12 - 14)

_ Let all the earth fear the Lord. Let all the peoples of the earth be afraid of Him – for He speaks and it happens; He spoke, and everything stood firm – The LORD frustrates the plans of the nations and causes the thoughts of the peoples to come to naught (Psalm 33:8 – 10).
_ Behold, the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those who hope in his mercy - to deliver their souls from death, and to preserve their lives in famine (Psalm 33: 18 - 19 )

_ The angels of the LORD close around those who fear Him, and deliver them – Fear Him, you saints of the LORD; For whoever fears Him lacks nothing (Psalm 34:7; 9).
_ The earth has brought forth its fruit; God, our God, will bless us - God will bless us, and the ends of the earth will fear Him (Psalm 67:7).
_ His salvation is near to those who fear him, so that glory may be in our land (Psalm 85:9).

_ But the steadfast love of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto their children's children - to them that fear him, and remember his commandments to do them (Ps. Psalm 103: 17 - 18)
_ The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; Everyone who keeps His commandments has understanding. His praise endures forever (Psalm 111:10).
_ Hallelujah! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord and delights in His commandments! – His descendants will be strong on earth;…the descendants of the upright will be blessed – Wealth and riches will be in his house, and his righteousness will endure forever (Psalm 112: 1 – 3)

_ Trust in the Lord, you who fear the Lord: He is your help and your shield - He will bless those who fear the Lord, both small and great (Psalm 115: 11 ; 13)
_ May God fulfill Your word for Your servant, that is, those who fear You (Psalm 119:38)
_ Blessed are those who fear the Lord and walk in His ways! – For you will enjoy the work of your hands, and be blessed with good fortune – Your wife in your house will be like a lush vine. Your children around your table are like olive shoots - behold, so shall they be blessed who fear the Lord (Psalm 128:1-4).
_ The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; But fools despise wisdom and instruction (Proverbs 1:7).

_ Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil (Proverbs 3:7).
_ The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride, insolence, evil ways, and a perverse mouth (Proverbs 8:13).
_ The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; knowledge of the Holy One, which is understanding (Proverbs 9:10).
_ The fear of the Lord increases the days; but the years of the wicked will be reduced (Proverbs 10:27).
_Whoever walks uprightly fears the Lord; Whoever acts wickedly despises Him (Proverbs 14:2).
_ In the fear of the Lord there is a sure refuge; and His children will have a place of refuge – The fear of the Lord is a source of life, to escape the snares of death (Proverbs 14:26-27).

_ The fear of the Lord teaches wisdom; and humility comes before honor (Proverbs 15:33).
_ Through mercy and truth sins are atoned for; and by the fear of the Lord people turn away from evil (Proverbs 16:6).
_ The fear of the Lord leads to life, making people live contentedly, without calamity (Proverbs 19:23).
_ The reward of humility and fear of the Lord is wealth, honor, and life (Proverbs 22:4).

_ Do not be divided in your heart with the wicked; But fear the Lord daily - For surely there is a good reward, and your waiting will not be in vain (Proverbs 23:17-18).
_ My son, fear the Lord and honor the king; Do not associate with rebels (Proverbs 24:21).
_ Those who always fear will always be blessed; But whoever hardens his heart will fall into trouble (Proverbs 28:14).
_ I know that everything God does will last forever: nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken away from it; God did this so that people would fear Him (Ecclesiastes 3:14).

_ Don't be too fair, don't pretend to be too wise, why harm yourself? - Don't be too aggressive, and don't act like a fool: Why did you die before the appointed time? – It is good that you keep this; but also don't loosen your grip on that thing; For whoever fears God will avoid all these things (Ecclesiastes 7:16-18).

_ Because the punishment for evil deeds is not immediately carried out, the hearts of human beings are dedicated to doing evil - Because a sinner who commits evil a hundred times will still live a long life; Yet I know that those who fear God will ultimately be blessed - but the wicked will not be blessed; nor will he live long, for his life is like a passing shadow; That is because he does not fear before God (Ecclesiastes 8: 11 – 13).
_ Let us hear the conclusion of this theory: Fear God and keep His commandments; This is all your duty - For God will bring into judgment all the most secret things, whether good or evil (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).

_ Your iniquities will chastise you, and your iniquities will rebuke you; therefore you must know and see that it is a bitter evil to forsake the Lord your God and not to fear me. Thus saith the LORD of hosts (Jeremiah 2:19).

_ Then those who feared the LORD spoke together, and the LORD paid attention and heard; and a book of remembrance is written before Him for them that fear the LORD and remember His name – These shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, and shall be mine own possession in the day of my doing; and I will pity them as a man mourns his son who serves him - Then you will return and will make a distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not serve Him (Malachi). 3: 16 – 18)
_ But as for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise for you, with healing in its wings; You shall go out and leap like young calves of the stall (Malachi 4:2).

_ Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; But rather fear him who can destroy soul and body in hell (Matthew 10:28).
_ And He has mercy on those who fear Him from generation to generation (Luke 1:50).
_ I say to you, my friends: Do not be afraid of those who kill the body and then can do nothing more. But I will show you whom to fear: Fear the One who, once killed, has the right to cast into hell; Yes, I tell you, he is the one you must fear (Luke 12:4-5).
_ We still know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone fears God and does His will, He listens (John 9:31).

_ Be subject to one another in fear of Christ (Ephesians 5:21)
_ If you call him like the Father, who judges each person according to what he does, then live in reverence during your sojourn in this life (I Peter 1:17).
_…Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; Worship Him who created heaven and earth, the seas and springs of water (Revelation 14:7).
