Sanctification
_For I am your God; I am holy, so you must be holy, and you will be holy...(Leviticus 11:44 a)
_ Command all the congregation of Israel, saying: Be holy, for I, the LORD your God, am holy (Leviticus 19:2).
_ Purify yourselves and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. - Keep my statutes and do them: I am the Lord who sanctifies you (Leviticus 20 : 7 - 8)
_ Be holy to me, for I, the LORD, am holy; I have separated you from the nations, that you may be mine (Leviticus 20:26).
_ A priest must not marry a prostitute or a sexually immoral person; nor should you marry someone whose husband has left you, because the priest has consecrated the priest to his God. He shall be holy to you, for I, the LORD, am holy, who make you holy (Leviticus 21:7-8).
_For you are a people holy to the LORD, your God; He chose you out of all the nations on the face of the earth to be his own people (Deuteronomy 7:6).
_ All who remain in Zion, who are left in Jerusalem, who are written in the book of the living in Jerusalem, will be called saints (Isaiah 4:3).
_ The coward is hidden; The exalted are brought low, the eyes of the haughty are humbled - but the LORD of hosts is exalted in righteousness, the Holy One is sanctified in righteousness (Isaiah 5:15-16).
_Honor the Lord of hosts holy; You shall only fear Him and be in awe of Him – He will be a sanctuary, but also a rock of stumbling, a rock of stumbling for both the houses of Israel, and a snare and a snare for the inhabitants of Jerusalem (Isaiah 8: 13 – 14 )
_ Father, please use the truth to make them holy; Your word is the truth. Just as you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. I have sanctified myself for them, that they also may be holy through the truth (John 17:17). – 19 )
_ Therefore, consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Do not let sin reign in your mortal body, and do not follow its lusts. Do not pay anything. your bodies to sin as instruments of iniquity; but submit yourselves to God, as though dead and yet alive, and your members to God as instruments of righteousness (Rom. 6 : 11 – 13 )
_ I speak in human terms, because your flesh is weak. Therefore, just as you have made your members slaves of uncleanness and wickedness to commit wickedness, so now you must make your members slaves of righteousness to be holy (Romans 6:19).
_ But now that you have been set free from sin and have become servants of God, you have the result of sanctification and eternal life (Romans 6:22).
_ Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God is in you? – If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy them; For God's temple is holy, and you yourselves are that temple (I Corinthians 3:16-17).
_ Cleanse yourselves of old leaven, so that you may become new unleavened dough, just as you are unleavened bread. For Christ, our Passover sacrifice, was killed. Let us then keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of wickedness and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. of truth (I Corinthians 5:7 – 8)
_For you were redeemed with a high price. Therefore, glorify God with your body (I Corinthians 6:20).
_ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
_ My beloved ones, since we have this promise, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, and complete the work in the fear of God. our saints (2 Corinthians 7:1).
_ That you must put away your former self, the old self, which is being corrupted by lust and deceit, but must be made new in your hearts and minds, and put on the new self, that is, the one who has been created. be like God, in righteousness and holiness of the truth (Ephesians 4:22-24)
_ For you were once dark, but now you have become light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:8)
_ Therefore if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God - Set your hearts on things that are in heaven, not on things that are on earth - for your sakes. dead, your life is hidden with Christ in God - Put to death your members in the lower world, fornication, impurity, lust, evil desire, covetousness, covetousness is no different from idolatry (Colossians 3: 1 – 3; 5).
_ For it is God's will that you should be holy: that is, you should abstain from impurity - each of you must know how to keep your own body holy and honorable - never falling into lust like the pagans. who do not know God - For God did not call us to impurity, but to holiness - therefore whoever despises what we say does not despise people, but despises God, who has given His Spirit in you (I Thessalonians 4: 3 - 5; 7 - 8)
_ Therefore, whoever keeps himself free from these unclean things will be like a precious vessel, holy, useful to his master, prepared for every good work (II Timothy 2:21).
_For the grace of God that saves all people has been revealed - He teaches us to renounce ungodliness and worldly lusts, and to live soberly, justly, and godly in this world (Titus 2 : 11 – 12 )
_ Therefore let us draw near to the Lord with a sincere heart and a fully filled faith, with our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water (Hebrews 10:22).
_ Pray for peace with everyone, seek holiness together, because if you are not holy, no one will see God - Be careful, lest someone fall short of God's grace, lest bitter roots sprout, may hinder and defile many of you (Hebrews 12:14-15).
_ Since you have become obedient children, do not practice sexual immorality, which reigned among you in the past, when you were still deluded - but as he who called you is holy. You also must be holy in all your conduct - for it is written: Be holy, for I am holy (I Peter 1:14-16).
_ Since all these things must be dissolved, how ought you to be holy and godly in all your conduct – as you wait and look forward to the coming of the day of God, when the heavens will be burned with fire and destroyed? disperse, the physical bodies will be burned and melted away! ( II Peter 3: 11 – 12 )
_ Dearly beloved, we are children of God right now, but what we will become has not yet been revealed. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He really is – Whoever has this hope in his heart purifies himself, just as his tongue is pure ( 1 John 3: 2 – 3)
