Holy Spirit
_For the earth is formless and void, and darkness is upon the surface of the deep; God moves on the surface of the water (Genesis 1:2).
_ Then the people of Israel cried out to the Lord; Then the LORD raised up for them a deliverer, Othniel the son of Kenaz, the younger brother of Caleb, and he saved them. The Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged.
Israel, and went out to war…(Judges 3:9 – 10a)
_ The woman gave birth to a son, and named him Samson, and the boy grew up, and the Lord blessed him. The Spirit of the Lord came upon him in the palace of Dan, between Zorah and Ethan (Judges 13). : 24 – 25)
_ Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; May Your good Spirit lead me to straight ground (Psalm 143:10).
_ Because I blame you, please come back; Behold, I will pour out my spirit upon you; I will make my words known to you (Proverbs 1:23).
_ The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him (the Messiah), the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).
_ The Spirit of the LORD gave rest to the people, like a flock of animals going down into the valley. In the same way, he led his people on the way to make his name and glory known (Isaiah 63:14).
_ Then I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters will prophesy; Your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions (Joel 2:28).
_ Immediately after being baptized, Jesus came out of the water; Suddenly the heavens were opened and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on Him (Matthew 3:16).
_ It will not be you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks from within you (Matthew 10:20).
_ So I say to you, everyone's sins and blasphemies will be forgiven; But blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. Whoever speaks a blasphemy against the Son of Man will be forgiven; But whoever speaks a word against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this world or the age to come (Matthew 12:31-32).
_ As soon as He came up out of the water, He saw the heavens opened and the Holy Spirit descending on Him like a dove (Mark 1:10).
_ Truly I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of men, and all blasphemy they shall utter - but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but will be guilty. eternal sin (Mark 3:28 - 29)
_ If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him! (Luke 11:13)
_ Whoever speaks against man will be forgiven; But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven (Luke 12:10).
_ When they bring you into the synagogue, before judges and rulers, do not worry about how you will defend yourself or what you will say - for at that very hour the Holy Spirit will teach you these things. words to say (Luke 12:11 – 12)
_ Jesus answered and said, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Whatever is born of the flesh is flesh; Everything that is born of the Spirit is god (John 3:5-6).
_ And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever—the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. ; But you know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you (John 14:16-17).
_ But the Helper, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I have said to you (John 14:26).
_ When the Advocate comes, whom I will send from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me (John 15:26).
_ When He comes, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment - About sin, because they do not believe in me; - about righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more - about judgment, because the princes of this world have been judged (John 16:8 – 11)
_ When the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth; For He does not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears, He declares to you things to come (John 16:13).
_ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8).
_ They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Holy Spirit gave them permission to speak (Acts 2:4)
_ In the last days, declares God, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see signs, and your elders will dream dreams (Acts 2:17).
_ While Peter was speaking, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word - The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were amazed, because they saw the gift of the Holy Spirit poured out. on the Gentiles too – because those believers heard them speaking in foreign languages and praising God (Acts 10:44 – 46).
_ For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace (Romans 8:6).
_ As for you, if the Spirit of God is truly in you, you will not live according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit; But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness. The Spirit of Him who raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in you, and He who raised Jesus Christ from the dead will also give rise to the mortal body through His Spirit who dwells in you. yours to live again (Romans 8:9 – 11).
_ For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God... - The Holy Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God (Romans 8: 14; 16)
_ In the same way, the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. Because we do not know what we should ask to pray for; But the Holy Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings that cannot be expressed (Romans 8:26).
_ Yet, as it is written: Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, but God has prepared it (the redemption of Jesus) for those who love Him - God He used the Holy Spirit to reveal these things to us, because the Holy Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God (1Corinthians 2:9-10).
_ As for us, we have not received the god of the world, but have received the Holy Spirit from God, that we may understand the gifts we have received from God - we speak of them, not relying on words. not taught by human wisdom, but by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, to express spiritual things in spiritual language - For the carnal person does not receive the things of the Spirit. of God ; For he considers it foolishness, and cannot understand it, because it must be spiritually examined (1Corinthians 2:12-14).
_ I do not want you to be ignorant, my brothers, of spiritual gifts. You know that when you were still unbelievers, you were led away to mute idols and led away as they pleased. I tell you that no one feels the Spirit of God and says, “Cursed is Jesus!” Without feeling the Holy Spirit, no one can confess that Jesus is Lord! – And there are different gifts, but there is only one Holy Spirit – the Holy Spirit is revealed in each person, for everyone to have the common good (1Corinthians 12: 1 - 4, 7).
_ And this man through the Holy Spirit had wisdom in his words; to another through the same Spirit the word of knowledge was given to him. By the same Holy Spirit to this man faith; By the same Holy Spirit, another person was given the gift of healing - another person was able to perform miracles; to another prophesy; man is able to distinguish between gods; To some one speaks divers tongues, to another an interpretation of them - All this is the work of the same Holy Spirit, distributing gifts to each one as He pleases ( 1 Corinthians 12: 8 – 11 )
_For the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is also freedom - We all, with unveiled faces, behold the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, and are transformed into the same image. from glory to glory, as from the Lord, the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17-18)
_ Therefore I say: Walk in the Spirit, and do not fulfill the desires of the flesh - For the flesh has desires contrary to the desires of the Spirit, and the Spirit has desires contrary to the desires of the Spirit. of the flesh ; Since the two sides are so contrary to each other, you cannot do what you would like to do - but if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law (Galatians 5:16-18).
_ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22).
_If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit (Galatians 5:25).
_ And in Him you also believed, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and were sealed with the Holy Spirit of God's promise. – He is the pledge of our inheritance until the redemption of those whom He has received to the praise of His glory (Ephesians 1:13-14).
_ Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, for by Him you are sealed for the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30).
_ Do not quench the Spirit - do not despise prophecies - examine all things, hold fast to whatever is good - avoid anything resembling evil (I Thessalonians 5:19-22)
_ By faith and love in the Lord Jesus Christ, hold fast to the good teachings you have received from me - through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, hold fast that good trust. good (II Timothy 1:13-14)
_Or do you think the Bible speaks in vain? The Holy Spirit, whom God has placed in our hearts, loves us to the point of jealousy (James 4:5).
_ Whoever keeps His commandments abides in God, and God in him; We know that He is in our hearts because of the Holy Spirit that He has given us (I John 3:24).
_ By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh comes from God (I John 4:2).
