Filiality
_ Honor your father and mother, so that you may live long (and blessed) in the land your God gives you (Exodus 20:12) # (Deuteronomy 5:16)
_ Whoever strikes his father or mother shall be put to death. Whoever scolds his father or mother shall be put to death (Exodus 20:15; 17)
_ Everyone shall honor his father and mother and keep my Sabbaths: I am the LORD your God (Leviticus 19:3).
_ When a person curses his father and mother, he must be put to death: he curses his parents; His blood will be on him (Leviticus 20:9).
_Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God commanded you, so that you may live long and be blessed in the land the Lord your God is giving you (Deuteronomy 5:16).
_ Cursed is the man who despises his father or mother...(Deuteronomy 27:16)
_ He who harms his father and drives away his mother is a son who causes shame and reproach (Proverbs 19:26).
The lamp of one who curses his father and mother will go out in total darkness (Proverbs 20:20).
_ My son, be wise and please me, so that I can respond to those who insult me (Proverbs 27:11).
_ He who keeps the law is a wise son; But whoever befriends a prodigal brings shame to his father (Proverbs 28:7).
_ Whoever steals from his father or mother, and says it is not a sin, is in company with the miscreant (Proverbs 28:24).

_ Because God has commanded this commandment: Honor your father and mother; Again, whoever curses his father or mother must die (Matthew 15:4).
_ Honor your parents; and love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 19:19).
_ Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right – Honor your father and mother (this is the first commandment, with a promise following it) – that it may be well with you and live long on earth (Ephesians 6:1 – 3).
_ Respect widows who are truly widows - But if the widow has children and grandchildren, the children and grandchildren must first learn to do good things towards their own family and repay their parents; For this pleases God (I Timothy 5:3-4).
