The Void

The Void

_ My Spirit will not abide in man forever, saith the LORD; In error, humanity is only flesh; Human life will be 120 years only (Genesis 6:3).
_ Because in the end, we are mortal, like water flowing on the earth, which cannot be collected. But God did not take away life, He knew how to find a way or else the exiled person would be far away from Him (II Samuel 14:14).
_ For we are strangers before the Lord, and strangers like our fathers; Our days on earth are like a shadow that cannot last long (1 Chronicles 29:15).

_ As the clouds part and disappear, so do those who go down to the underworld and never return - They never return to their homes, and their land no longer knows them (Job 7:9 - 10).
_ Man born from a woman lives for a few days and is filled with misery - He is born like grass and flowers and is destroyed; He passes by like a shadow, but does not stay for long (Job 14: 1 - 2).

_ O Lord, let me know what my end is, and the number of my days; let me know how fragile I am – Behold, You have made my days and hours as long as a hand, and my life as nothing before You; Yes, each person who stands firm is nothing but nothing – Indeed, each person who walks is like a shadow; Everyone is confused and in vain; He lays up treasure, but does not know who will get it (Psalm 39:4-6).

_ For he saw that the wise man died, and that the fool and the foolish died alike, leaving their property to others (Psalm 49:10).
_ But even though humans are in luxury, they will not last forever. Like animals, they will perish (Psalm 49:12).
_ Do not be afraid when someone becomes rich, when the glory of his house increases - For when he dies he can take nothing away, nor his glory with him to the grave (Psalm 49:16 - 17)

_ He who enjoys luxury without understanding is like an animal that will perish (Psalm 49:20).
_ May God save us from trouble; For the help of man is vain (Psalm 60:11 #108:12)

_ Truly, the lower class is nothing but the upper class is just a lie; weigh them, they weigh them up, they are all lighter than nothing - Don't trust in oppression, don't put your trust in robbery, for it's in vain; If wealth increases, do not put your heart into it (Psalm 62: 9 - 10).

_ The Lord turned men back to dust and ashes, and said, 'Return, O children of men - For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday that is past, like a watch of the night (Psalm 90: 3 - 4)

_ Our age is up to seventy, and if we are healthy, up to eighty; But its pride is nothing but hardship and sadness, for life passes quickly, and then we fly away... - May the Lord teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom ( Psalm 90 : 10 ; 12 )
_ Human life is like grass; People grow like flowers in the field; - The wind blows on the flower, and behold, it is no more, its place is no longer known (Psalm 103: 15 - 16)

_ If the Lord does not build the house, the builders work in vain. If the Lord does not guard the city, the watchman keeps watch in vain (Psalm 127:1).
_ Man is like a breath, his life is like a passing shadow (Psalm 144:4)

_ Do not put your trust in kings, nor in the sons of men, where there is no help - The breath dies, and man returns to his dust; On that very day her schemes will be lost (Psalm 146:3-4).

_ Unrighteous wealth is of no use; But righteousness delivers from death (Proverbs 10:2).

_ It is better to have a little wealth and fear the Lord than to have much wealth and be troubled (Proverbs 15:16).
_ Wealth obtained through a deceitful tongue is a vain thing that quickly expires for those who seek death (Proverbs 21:6).

_ Don't struggle to get rich; Stop relying on your own wisdom (Proverbs 23:4).
_ I also devoted myself to learning wisdom, and knowing foolishness; We know that it is also according to the wind blowing - Because if there is much wisdom, there will also be many afflictions; Whoever adds knowledge increases pain (Ecclesiastes 1:17-18).

_ Because your days are nothing but pain, your labors become sadness; So much so that people's hearts cannot rest at night. That is also vanity - There is nothing better for people than eating and drinking, allowing one's soul to enjoy the blessings of one's hardships. We see that this also comes from the hand of God (Ecclesiastes 2: 23 - 24).

_ For God gives wisdom, understanding and joy to those who please Him; But He causes sinners to labor and gather and store up, so that they can give to those who please God. That too is vanity, a blowing of the wind (Ecclesiastes 2:26).

_ For as it happens to humans, so it happens to animals; What happens to the two species is exactly the same. The death of one species is the same as the death of another; Both species breathe the same breath, humans are no better than animals; because all is vanity – All is concentrated in one place; All things come from dust, and all things will return to dust (Ecclesiastes 3:19-20).

_ I also see that all merit and skill are what make one person and another jealous of each other. That too is vanity, a blowing of the wind (Ecclesiastes 4:4).
_ It is better to have a palm full of peace than to have two hands full of hardship and be carried away by the wind (Ecclesiastes 4:6).

_ As I came out of my mother's womb naked, so shall I return, and as for the fruits of my labor, there is nothing my hand can carry (Ecclesiastes 5:15).
_ Going to a house of mourning is better than going to a house of feasting; For there is the end of all men, and the living take it to heart (Ecclesiastes 7:2).

_ The living know they will die; But the dead know nothing, and receive no reward; because their memory has been forgotten - their love, their hate, their jealousy have all disappeared long ago; They will have no more share in all that is done under the sun (Ecclesiastes 9:5-6).

_ ...; For then he goes to his eternal home, and the mourners go about the streets. Remember the Creator before the silver cord is severed, and the golden cup is broken, before the jar is broken. the stream, and the wheel broke on the well – and the dust returned to the earth as it was, and the spirit returned to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:5b-7).

_ He who becomes rich does not follow righteousness, like a partridge that incubates eggs that he does not lay; Half of a person's life is lost, and in the end he becomes a fool (Jeremiah 17:11).
_ Those who focus on vain and deceitful things forsake their mercy (Jonah 2:9).

_ Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal (Matthew 6:19).
_ Then He said to them: Be careful not to be stingy in anything; For a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions (Luke 12:15).

_ And said: Behold, this thing I will do: I will destroy the whole treasury and build another greater one, storing up produce and wealth in it; - then will say to my soul: My soul, you have received many treasures saved for many years; stop, rest, eat, drink, and be merry - But God said to him: You fool! This very night your soul will be reclaimed; So to whom will the treasures you have prepared belong? – So it is with everyone who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich toward God (Luke 12:18 – 21).

_ And godliness with contentment is great gain - Because we brought nothing with us when we were born, and when we die we can take nothing with us - So, as long as we have enough food and clothing, we must satisfied - but those who want to be rich will fall into temptation, fall into traps, fall into many unreasonable and harmful desires, which plunge people into destruction and destruction - Because of greed, Money is the root of all evil. Some people pursue it and apostatize, incurring many pains (I Timothy 6:6-10).

_ Warn those who are rich in this world not to be arrogant and not to put their hope in uncertain wealth, but to put their hope in God, who richly gives us all things to enjoy each day ( 1 Timothy 6: 17)
